Our Process

Essential Wealth ManagementWhile every client relationship is different, the process for becoming a client was designed with you in mind. It is our commitment to you that we will never pressure you into making a decision you aren’t comfortable with or don’t fully understand. As a fee-only advisor, we will never sell you a product you don’t need. At Essential Wealth Management, the best interest of our clients is the best interest of our firm.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Initial Meeting

You will meet with your EWM registered investment advisor and learn about the services and special programs EWM offers. During this process we will get to know you and answer any questions you may have. There is no pressure and no sales gimmick. We will simply help determine if there is a good fit between your needs and Essential Wealth Management.

2nd Meeting

Essential Wealth ManagementOnce you decide that Essential Wealth Management is the place for you, we will set up a second meeting to fill out the necessary paperwork which includes the client advisor agreement, the client risk profile questionnaire, and custodian account setup forms. During this meeting you will be required to provide statements of the current accounts you wish to have EWM manage.

Transfer of Assets

Over the next 10 to 20 business days EWM will work to ensure that all of your assets are accurately transferred to our custodian. During this time your EWM registered investment advisor will contact you to update you on the status of your asset transfer and to answer any questions you may have.

 

3rd Meeting

Once the assets are transferred to our custodian you will meet with your EWM registered investment advisor to discuss the investment strategy and plan. The assets will be actively managed following this meeting.

 

Follow-up Meetings

The amount of communication, between EWM and our clients, varies by client depending primarily upon the client’s needs. We understand our clients are busy and seek a

relationship with us because they don’t have time to manage their investments themselves. With this in mind, we will meet with you as frequently or as little as you desire. Most clients meet with us twice a year, although we would be more than happy to meet with you quarterly until you become comfortable with the process.

 

 

Client Statements

You will receive a monthly statement from our custodian detailing your holdings and transactions for the month. Additionally, you will receive trade confirmations via email whenever there is activity in your account.
